Exfoliation removes the outer layer of skin to reveal the newer skin beneath, it keeps skin clean and helps reducing acne outbreaks. You can exfoliate your skin by using a natural exfoliant so you can achieve healthy, glowing skin.

Coffee grounds containing caffeine acid has anti- inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects on the skin and stimulates collagen production.

  • mix 1 cup of warm coffee ground with ½ cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Rub the mixture all over your skin then rinse it off.

Mix 2 tablespoons ground oatmeal with 1 tablespoon baking soda ,add water until a paste forms. Apply over your face gently rubbing in a circular motion then rinse.

Mix papaya and banana in a blender, then add 2 tablespoons of honey. Apply the mixture on the skin, leave it for 15 minutes then rinse with cold water.

Mix 2 tablespoons olive oil with 2 tablespoons sugar till creates a thick paste. Apply over your skin face, leave 10 minutes then wash with water.

Exfoliating keeps the skin soft and glowing and will keep your skin pores from clogging which keeps acne under control.

Oily-Skin  Oily skin is a common problem, caused by over active sebaceous glands, that produces a substance called sebum. When the skin produces excessive sebum,  it becomes  heavy and thick in texture. The oilier the skin is, the dirtier the skin feels and looks, to prevent this feeling it’s important to keep the skin clean.

Managing oily skin can be challenging for many people. Here are some suggestions so you can take care of your oily skin:

Make scrubs : you can mix oatmeal with aloe vera, rub gently over your skin, leave on 20 minutes, then wash carefully.

Citrus oils like lemons, grapefruit , orange can help oily skin. You can refresh your face with a mixture of lemon juice and cucumber juice, apply to skin, leave on few minutes then wash it.

Tomatoes containing antioxidants, vitamin C and A, have astringent properties and are helpful for oily skin and acne:

  • mix tomatoes  juice with honey, the apply over your face, leave on 15 minutes , then wash with cold water (cold water closes skin pores).

Use aloe vera, to remove some of the oil from your skin. If your pores are clogged, you can use aloe vera to clean them out.

Sage and peppermint have astringent properties. Mix sage and pepermint in a cup, fill it with boiling water, leave it for 20 minutes, strain and let it cool before applying over face, is an excellent toner.

Clay masks (as bentonite) reduce greasiness of skin , also clean your skin from impurities:

  • mix 1 teaspoon of facial clay with lemon juice, apply over face, leave on for 10- 15 minutes then rinse it off.

Also eat fresh fruits and vegetables as much as possible and avoid unhealthy fats and replace them with healthy fats from nuts, seeds.
